Cards 4 College™ - Peeps 4 Pets™ - M.P.S. Edge™

President WE Give Society Inc.

WR the kid... without a clue?

...with his parents roots in Detroit and himself being raised primarily in South Florida, both Dade and Broward county schools, WR from a young age was seeking answers.

WR's mother was a single parent raising his sister and him working nights after putting siblings to sleep to make ends meet. WR never went without and was even awarded "Best dressed" in High school. Mom's efforts beyond necessities included private school w/sports looking for the fix?

WR's father was the relentless renegade without grounding or any semblance of a true-life direction. What hope did an out dated - overburdened school system expect to provide?

The early years for WR were definitely (without his knowledge or permission) attached to disharmony, destruction and despair... His father’s best guess was the Boys club but WR was not connected to boxing, football, basketball or other common sport activities offered there.

WR' s mom enrolled him in intramural football and baseball and his dad exposed him to business and the world of wine, woman and song. Additionally this business life included drug smuggling and of course the celebratory using of drugs was just a by product of the lifestyle offered by dad.

Yes, WR naturally and curiously indulged in more than his share of all the available drugs at the time. Additionally he participated in many illegal activities that went along with the accepted and for the most part, socially accepted and endorsed lifestyle. Remember Cocaine wasn't addictive!

Matter of fact most of the smuggling activities included chiefs of police, city commissioners, successful business owners and powerful Miami attorneys. They were "in the business" and using a young kid to ride in the boat out of Government cut in Miami made it look like a family fishing trip was my take on it reflecting back about it years later.

I recall sensing it was illegal but truthfully  I didn’t care. There was an allure and I loved the crisp Benjamin’s I received after we got the boat docked at the Miami Yacht Club or the Swamp Buggy trailered after a romp in the Everglades because small airplanes were losing their luggage?

Business and money was far more attractive but proved to be more dangerous and deadly as the attached lifestyle subsequently took WR's dad to an early grave and he was heading close behind. Unfortunately WR carries the dubious records associated and frequently linked to that lifestyle.

On one occasion when WR viewed his dad in a very sad state, he asked his dad "what was wrong"?

His dad’s reply was merely "son you will never understand". WR was crushed by the response.

Upon his father's crossing over in 1985 WR experienced much confusion and further disharmony, despair and destruction for the next year. Finally in a moment of clarity on Oct 16 1986, WR began his quest to discover why his father exclaimed "he would never understand' and just what exactly was it that he would never understand? Since that day WR has not taken another drink or a drug.

While still in his 20's the reality of disharmony, despair and destruction was even more real with the loss of his dad and his dad's reply really began to reverberate in WR's young spirit. WR knows today that quest for the answer is the inspiration for ThunderPilots™ and StudentstoExecutives™

His quest for the "answer" discovered the path to HHP™ Healthy, Harmonious and Prosperous living and also gave birth to the ‘Sport of Business” along with the secret sauce we know as the M.P.S.edge™.

Born in Detroit Michigan, the grandson of an inventor/engineer who found his place working with Henry Ford.  Reared in South Florida streets and then after serving 6 yrs. in the U.S. Air Force as an Instructor, WR shifted gears into the private sector. WR has now enjoyed many years as an eclectic businessman and calls the whole planet his home.

FAST FORWARD since fueled with H.H.P.™. WR, Entrepreneur and Innovator, has been intensively involved in business startups, training and management for multiple decades; encompassing diverse services, product design, manufacturing, marketing, promotions and sales.

Additionally during this entire time of business pursuits WR has remained extensively involved in helping others in his off time. Individuals who chose substance abuse as the answer. This has always been his life work and it wasn't until much later did he accept money for his wisdom. This was the business mind at work and WR became a private life coach.

His unrelenting passion remains intact because he feels regardless of an individuals past everyone deserves to understand what they too never understood about the harmonious human quotient. The big exception is that today he desires to impart this wisdom while people are very young as opposed to beyond their teens or even worse, after the fall.

WR's conclusion is too much energy is needed and the odds suck for crisis intervention and management and now chooses to spend his life in preventitive preparation (H.H.P.™) instead.

Whether in the early days dabling in business as a news carrier who sub-contracted or leveraged his route at the age of 12, managing a bicycle store at 14, followed by many years at the side of his business owner father and then moving on the the harmonious years he invented the Cartache’ office system. This allowed WR to hang and be inspired with Steve Jobs and Bill Gates as fellow aspiring businessmen/geeks at Comdex Atlanta. Regardless, WR’s mind is always seeking the next big thing or more importantly, the better way.

WR has created diverse marketing, promotions and sales platforms to accommodate Estate planning, Insurance, Transportable Computer offices, and Fire systems. Completing the process of entrepreneurship with manufacturing in his art studio an aesthetic array of wind instruments. 12 years were dedicated entirely to manufacturing, promotions, sales and distribution of his patentable art while additionally teaching and empowering young students and retirees to reproduce his incredibly unigue designs. Both inspiration and passion by all, provided the success.

Although he oversees these entire structural units, his We Give Society Inc. team, principals and associates interpret and implement tasks and activities towards the achievement of Society Nights Productions Inc.’s ultimate goal — maximizing for all those involved, empowerment, profits, and loyalty through value-laden branded products/services and by offering a unique interactive, effective and proprietary business methodology and system.

WR has been honored, privileged and inspired with the advice and consultation of some of the most successful entrepreneurial minds in the world. WR's current passion is "Playing it Forward" by empowering young minds in the "Sport of Business" and Life with the MPSedge™ formula.

JON GRUDEN

Director of Athlete C.O.R.E.™ (Athletes2Executives)

Former NFL Coach, ESPN Sports Commentator

Consumate Mentor

Super Bowl-winning head coach Jon Gruden joined ESPN in 2009 as an analyst for Monday Night Football. Twice nominated for a Sports Emmy, Gruden also contributes analysis throughout the year on ESPN Radio and other platforms, including Super Bowl week and NFL Draft. He also served as an analyst during ESPN’s 2010 Pro Bowl telecast.

Gruden has been widely praised for his groundbreaking SportsCenter Special: QB Camp prime time show which has become a popular element of ESPN’s annual pre-Draft coverage. The in-depth, one-on-one interviews and film sessions have featured Gruden mentoring top quarterback prospects such as Sam Bradford, Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker, Colt McCoy, Cam Newton, and Tim Tebow. The success of these shows has led to similar specials, including a Gruden’s Champ Camp special with New Orleans Saints Super Bowl winners Drew Brees and Sean Payton in 2010.

Gruden does his regular film study for MNF and conducts the QB Camp interviews at his Tampa, Fla., office. Always looking to expand his knowledge of the game and learn from others, he regularly welcomes high school, college and professional coaches to discuss football strategy, philosophy and to review game film.

The dynamic, outspoken and often fiery Gruden was a highly successful NFL head coach for 11 seasons with the Oakland Raiders (1998-2001) and most recently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002-08). He compiled a career record of 100-85 and led his teams to five division titles. Gruden’s best season was 2002 when the Buccaneers finished the regular season 12-4 and captured the Super Bowl XXXVII title with a 48-21 victory over the Raiders, the team Gruden help build and had coached just one season earlier. At the time, the championship made then 38-year-old Gruden the youngest head coach ever to win a Super Bowl.

Gruden began his NFL coaching career in 1990 when Mike Holmgren, then offensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers, hired him as an assistant in charge of quality control.  After three seasons in Green Bay, Gruden moved on to become the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator under head coach Ray Rhodes. In 1998, Gruden was chosen by Oakland owner and general manager Al Davis to be the Raiders’ new head coach at the age of 34.

A native of Sandusky, Ohio, Gruden graduated from the University of Dayton in 1985 with a degree in communications. Gruden grew up in a football family. His father, Jim, served as an assistant at Notre Dame in the late 1970s and later with the Buccaneers, among his 38 seasons of collegiate and professional experience.

Gruden was named one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” in 2001 and he was the first non-player ever invited by the Walt Disney Co. to star in its popular post-Super Bowl “What’s Next?” commercial (with quarterback Brad Johnson) after leading the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in 2003.  The recipient of the 2002 Coach of the Year honor at the ESPY Awards, Gruden was also recognized as Professional Coach of the Year at the 37th Victor Awards in 2003.  He wrote the book Do You Love Football?! Winning with Heart, Passion, and Not Much Sleep.

Before joining ESPN, Gruden worked as a guest analyst with the NFL Network during the 2009 NFL Draft and Scouting Combine.  During the summer of 2009, he participated in the inaugural NFL-USO Coaches Tour with Tom Coughlin, Bill Cowher, Jeff Fisher, and John Harbaugh, on a trip to meet and greet U.S. service members over several days in the Persian Gulf region.
